This year we are very excited to host our annual outdoor worship service! It is Sunday, May 1 at 10:00 AM.

For the last few years we have also had a picnic lunch to follow and games for everyone. We are not doing the picnic and games part this year for two primary reasons:
1. Due to economic conditions, we took an across the board 20% cut to ministry areas in fiscal year 2011.. The church picnic is a very fun and good event, but it also costs some money and was an area that we could cut for this year.
2. We don’t have a picnic every year and it seemed like a good year to rotate off. For our history we have typically hosted a picnic for several years and then not for a year or two. Considering all conditions, 2011 seemed like a good year to break.

I hope that helps everyone understand.

All that being said, the church property is open for you to stay and eat with friends or play games on your own. The building will be open with restrooms available until 2:00 PM (at least).
