“Spread His salvation to all the nations!” -Psalm 67:2

NHCC’s summer program for children, World View, is offered five consecutive Sundays and teaches children truths from God’s Word about evangelism and world missions. We trust the Lord to use the entire World View experience to develop in NHCC kids a burden for people all over the globe!

Purpose—to cultivate in children a heart for God’s work around the world that becomes an immediate and future motivation for personal involvement in the spread of the gospel to all nations!

Program—the purpose accomplished through:

Bible teaching on themes of missions and evangelism that help children embrace the mission of God’s people

Week 1: God is the Great King of the Whole Earth Who is Worthy of Praise
Week 2: God Wants People Everywhere to Know and Worship Him
Week 3: God Uses His People to Share the Good News of Salvation with the Lost
Week 4: God’s People Pray Effectively for Mission Work Around the World
Week 5: God’s People Show and Share the Love of Christ with Unbelievers

Biographies of pioneer missionaries and information about current missionaries that demonstrate the power and movement of God in ordinary people to take the gospel to the lost

Cultural instruction and experiences that cultivate understanding and compassion in children for other peoples of the world

• Using maps and observing photos
• Watching educational and travel video clips
• Experiencing crafts, games, and food

Place— Each grade studies a different area of the world in a classroom decorated to look and feel like the area of the world they are learning about (Children will attend the class for the grade they will enter in the fall)

1st Grade:     AUSTRALIA
2nd Grade:   AFRICA
3rd Grade:    LATIN AMERICA
4th Grade:    EUROPE
5th Grade:    ASIA
6th Grade:    MIDDLE EAST
