    By prayer, the study of God’s word, and motivated by God’s love, we are seeking to encourage, serve, and connect with the Body of Christ at NHCC and in the greater world community.

    Current Events in the Singles’ Ministry

    On Sunday mornings we are meeting at 10:45 in the cafe and studying the book of Hebrews.  We are currently in Chapter 11.  There will be no class on Sunday Nov. 20th and 27th. 

    Upcoming Events in the Singles’ Ministry

    Our annual Christmas get together will be at the home of Alan & Coralyn Bunn, December 18th, beginning around 7:15 pm.  Everyone please bring something healthy to eat and share with others and we will provide drinks, cups, plates, etc.

    Our 2011 Fall Retreat was held at  Ridge Haven, a facility near The Wilds.   We had a great weekend studying and talking about the Sovereignty of God.    You can learn more about the facility if you go to www.ridgehaven.org

     

     Service Opportunities for Singles at NHCC

    • Worship Ministry- Volunteers are needed to operate the sound system and video equipment during the service. If you’re interested in serving this way, please email Pauline at Paulines@nhcconline.com.
    • Children’s Ministry- Volunteers are needed to serve in the nursery during each service and for special events. If you’re interested in getting involved email Rachel at rachelw@nhcconline.com.
    • Youth Ministry Roundtables- If you’re interested in being a part of Youth Ministry Roundtables email Mary at marym@nhcconline.com.
    • Community Cafe/Book Resource Center- This ministry offers opportunities to serve, meet new people, and make new friends. E-mail Jeannie at jeannier@nhcconline.com if you’re interested in serving here.
    • Food for Life- Serve the community outside of the walls of the church each Thursday night from 7-9pm. Contact Paul Blumer for more information at chefpaul@streetsidecatering.com.
    • Shepherding Groups – Various Shepherding Groups meet on the first and third Wednesday each month for fellowship, study, and accountability.  Email Ryan Ferguson at ryanf@nhcconline.com to get connected.
