H.U.G.S. stands for: Handmade Under Grace Sufficient.

The H.U.G.S. Quilt Ministry exists to Glorify God by providing a tangible evidence of our prayers through the making of quilts in the spirit of I Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore comfort each other and edify one another…”

The quilts are made and then distributed to children involved with NHCC Ministries such as The Belarus Children’s Ministry, and the The HOPE Children’s Ministry of NHCC. Individual children are given quilts when faced with traumatic life experiences or life threatening illness.

To date, the H.U.G.S. Quilt Ministry has given away more that 350 quilts!

Prasso

The Greek word “prasso” means “to practice.” Prasso Ministries helps men and women find hope and victory by encouraging them to repeatedly, continually and habitually practice God’s Word (The Bible) in their daily lives. We accomplish this through a twelve-week Bible study offered locally in Greenville, South Carolina but soon to be available nationally. The program includes a teaching time and homework lessons which give a “toolbox full of tools” to carry throughout the day and throughout life.

Prasso is for Christians who want to learn how to disciple biblically. It is for those who are in bondage to life-dominating sins. It is for those who want to find intimacy with their Abba Father and for those whose lives have been turned upside down by some bitter experience. It is truly a place to start for a new beginning.

Mosaic

Mosaic offers hope and help for singles moms. Just like a mosaic, our group is made of broken pieces that are made beautiful in Christ.

• to come alongside single moms for the purpose of encouragement, accountability, care and discipleship
• to encourage integration of single moms into ministry at NHCC
• to encourage NHCC families to become involved in the lives of single moms
• to offer opportunities for fellowship

Single moms and their families are invited to join us for a special lunch every third Sunday after the 10:45 am service.
We provide assistance to single moms at NHCC through our 1Another ministry (864-918-7859).
