1Another exists to help meet the physical needs of the NHCC body. More than just a Benevolence Committee, 1Another is the part of our Network of Care that connects people in need with the others who can help.

Areas of Service:

• Financial Counseling
• Financial Assistance in Crisis
• Illness Support (meals, sitting, labor, cards, etc.)
• Basic & Skilled Labor Assistance

1Another works closely with Shepherding Groups to ensure those in need are developing relationships within the body of Christ. We want more and more of our member’s challenges to be met head on in the loving context of their Shepherding Group. Realizing that times of physical trial often bring issues of the heart to the surface, we also work closely with our Counseling Ministry to provide acute spiritual care when needed.

The best way to notify 1Another of a need is to call the helpline at 864-918-7859 and leave a short, clear message. Someone will call you back within 24 hours.

How can I serve others through this ministry?

Give: A portion of the offering is designated for 1Another on the first Sunday of each month.
Register: Are you willing to lend a helping hand (cooking meals, mowing lawns, cleaning, babysitting, etc.)? Can you provide skilled labor (plumbing, construction, etc.)? Please let us know (by calling 864-918-7859) so we can plug you into our 1Another Data Base.  As needs arise we will contact you with opportunities to serve.
